Aim

The XERON Journal of Medical Research (XJMR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal published by XERON Medical Research (XMR).

The journal aims to support the ethical generation, critical evaluation, and timely dissemination of reliable medical and health-related research. XJMR provides a scholarly platform for clinicians, researchers, educators, public health professionals, biomedical scientists, nurses, allied health professionals, and postgraduate students.

The journal considers both positive and negative findings when the research question is relevant, the methods are appropriate, and the conclusions are supported by the evidence.

Acceptance is not based on the authors’ institutional affiliation, professional seniority, nationality, gender, or ability to purchase editorial or research-support services.

Research Outside the Scope

XJMR does not ordinarily consider:

  • manuscripts unrelated to medicine, health, biomedical science, or healthcare;

  • studies based on fabricated, falsified, or unverifiable data;

  • submissions without required ethical approval or exemption;

  • manuscripts that have already been published;

  • manuscripts simultaneously submitted to another journal;

  • purely promotional or commercial material;

  • unsupported personal opinions presented as scientific evidence;

  • case reports without appropriate consent for publication;

  • manuscripts containing plagiarism or inappropriate duplication; or

  • studies whose conclusions are not supported by the methods and results.

The Editor-in-Chief may reject a manuscript without external peer review when it falls outside the journal’s scope or does not meet minimum scientific, ethical, or reporting requirements.
